Living In The Moment

Living in the moment—What does that mean?  Here is a perfect, perfect example for you!  I take my 2005 yellow Lotus Elise in for a brake job and as I’m about to get in my  “loaner”  and go do some errands, I ask if there are any new models around.  My service guy, Bob, tells me to go check out a hot car, the sister car to the Elise, the even hotter, Exige S.  I come upon this  “sick”  car that blew mine away and all of a sudden, I’m running numbers with a salesman to trade mine in and buy this one!  One hour later, I drive off with a pimp ride that is a head-turning, super-charged jet rocket, metallic-shiny black-on-black, one-of-a-kind looking, best car of my life!!!  It doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks of it…it’s what I think of it—and I’m in love with my new baby!  Like my friend, Joe Vitale, best selling author from The Secret, I love cars and want to have a bunch of them!

For only $100 more a month, I got a 2007 instead of a 2005, with 600 miles instead of 13,000 miles, and a more souped-up, supercharged version of the old one!!!

Was it impulsive?  Without a doubt!  Am I happy like Brad Pitt when he married Angelina Jolie?  Without a doubt!  Did I love it?  Without a doubt!  Am I living my life like each day is my last?  Without a doubt!

Do you get the point?  Don’t wait until a life-threatening injury wakes you up before you soak up each and every moment on this earth like it’s your last!  Don’t wait until a close friend dies unexpectedly to wake up and  “smell the coffee.”   See the simple beauties in each day and relish in them.  Tell your kids you love them like crazy!  Help a stranger out.  Do something nice for yourself.  Laugh out loud like a fruitcake.  Blast the music in your car.  Do a little dance.  Let your emotions out for people to see.  Call up an old friend.  Live an extraordinary life.  Have goals and dreams.  Make someone laugh.  Brighten someone’s day.  Take care of your body.  BE POSITIVE.

Grow young.  I am 53 years YOUNG!  I truly believe that I am the happiest guy I know!  Let me tell you something people…I have learned how to make myself happy and it’s a skill everyone needs to learn right away—because as Mick Jagger says:  “Time waits for no one.”   Let’s go people, start reading some Joe Vitale, LuAn Mitchell, and watch The Secret and pass it on, and stay tuned for more from Total Health For Life, LLC baby!  We can show you the way!  As always, I write to empower people.
